Volt Workforce Solutions is currently seeking individuals that have Compounding experience and working with raw materials. Our client manufactures gels, creams, lotions, liquids, powders, and hot fill waxes. 

Primary duties of a Compounding Tech.

  • Weigh, measure and mix raw material ingredients, monitor agitation, heating and cooling temperatures, and other parameters to ensure finished batches of creams, gels and liquids meet specifications.
  • Transfer materials into properly labeled, safety approved containers.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and complete all required documentation to maintain compliance with cGMPs, company Quality System and ISO 13485 guidelines.
  • Address and solve problems that affect and improve compounding and filling quality.
  • Use good time management, perform work in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Be supportive of all plant OSHA regulations while using the prescribed personal protective gear including gloves, mask, gown, etc. as required by the materials handled and plant policy.
  • Perform other duties as required, which includes, but in not limited to, assisting other departments as needed in various capacities.

Qualifications/Requirements of a Compounding Tech.

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of compounding experience is required.
  • Work cooperatively with fellow employees, supervisory and management personnel.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, work in a high humidity environment with a wide variety of raw materials and cleaning solutions.
  • Good personal hygiene is a requirement.
  • Must have good basic math skills.
  • Have a cooperative attitude with fellow employees.
  • Utilize and develop techniques and processes that improve efficiency.

Working Conditions

  • Regular working hours are Monday through Friday, currently 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Some overtime may be required.


$16.00 to $20.00 /hour
