If you are a SENIOR Level Configuration Manager with at least 6 years of experience with large technical programs and have demonstrated proficiency in the Windchill Configuration Management processes, then you may be the candidate we are looking for!

We are seeking a SENIOR Level Configuration Manager to work with our client, a leader in government services and IT support, as the Configuration Management Manager.  The selected candidate will work this SIX (6) MONTH TEMP-TO-HIRE opportunity in N. Charleston, SC from 8am to 5pm.  The successful candidate a self-starter that is technically proficient with configuration management and able to work unsupervised.  This is a one-person team!  The candidate will be the manager of the configuration process and will decide how a typical day will be.  Over the next three (3) months, the Configuration Management Manager will become intimately familiar with the products as they pertain to configuration management.

Job Duties

  • Communicating with the PM and government customer
  • Execution of the ACV 1.1 CM Plan
  • Leading Configuration Control Board to review, accept, and document changes to As Built and As Maintained Configurations.
  • Responsible for all Configuration Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reports (Master CI, Configuration Status Accounting, As-Designed, As-Built, As-Maintained).

Required KSAOs

  • Expert level configuration management skills and experience
  • Proficiency in Windchill Configuration Management processes (Problem Reports, Change Requests, Change Notifications) to document configuration changes.
  • Proficiency managing Product Structure in Windchill to maintain Configuration baselines
  • Ability to work in a team environment among Production, Quality, Engineering, and Production Management personnel to understand status of program and impacts on Configuration Management.

Desired KSAOs

  • Familiarity with wheeled, ground combat vehicles
  • Configuration management discipline for concrete avenues for large technical programs
