Volt is immediately hiring for CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER in LATHROP, CA.

As a Construction Project Manager you will:

• Work closely with members of the Project Management, Infrastructure Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Project Controls and Procurement departments from install through production.
• Supervise all on-site construction including scheduling of trade contractors, vendor tool installations, resolving day-to-day construction issues, performing day-to-day inspections to ensure compliance with plans and specifications while tracking project schedule and budget.
• Successfully deliver, design build, and self-performed construction projects
• Ensure on time, or ahead of time delivery of construction projects, enabling your teams to solve problems and prioritize execution
• Promote a safe and quality driven culture, both project and companywide
• Use efficient and aesthetic communication methods to escalate roadblocks or communicate successes as necessary, including the ability to clearly communicate risks
• Employ a can-do attitude, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and aligned to the project’s goals
• Track and understand all project costs at a fundamental level, challenging design revision, RFIs and changing orders to ensure the best value

This is a Full time Contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Ideally 5 years’ minimum experience on large commercial or industrial construction projects
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Construction Cost/Data Analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience
• Advanced knowledge and proven delivery on civil, structural, and architectural, mechanical, electrical, life safety, and controls scopes

Pay Rate: <$55.00 - $60.00 per hour>
