Construction Project Manager - Superintendent in Santa Barbara, CA at Volt

NOW!! ***General Contractor in Santa Barbara is looking for a Project Manager and a Superintendent. This is residential high end builds ***

We want an effective Project Manager and  Superintendent with  knowledge and ability to take care of construction issues as they arise, communicate clearly with the team, each other, home owners, consultants, construction team  and design teams. Project Manager must have the ability to work well with the Superintendent to plan out each work week and the weeks ahead. 

Key duties Superintendent; 
•    Responsible for weekly schedule of tasks with a daily breakdown 
•    Ability to work well with all construction trades on the jobsite
•    Responsible for making sure that rough and finish layouts are correct for all trades.
•    Assist PM with input for weekly meetings with design team, client and consultants
•    Assist PM with generating accurate short term look ahead schedule.
•    Provide PM with input on overall project schedule.
•    Input daily logs and photos into Procore by the end of each work day.
•    Coordinate all necessary inspections
•    Maintain jobsite safety at all times
•    Manage onsite labor

Key Duties Project Manager;

• Oversee the onsite construction team and lead communications with clients, consultants, trades, vendors.
• Manage the project budget, sub/vendor commitments, and invoices
• Proactively manage scope and schedule changes
• Maintain long term project schedule and short term, “look ahead” schedules
• Manage Project Documentation
• Manage Shop Drawings, RFIs, and Submittals
• Coordinate and lead weekly project meetings with design team and client. 
• Ensure daily logs and photos are uploaded into Procore daily
• Ensure jobsite safety and organization
• Ensure all building department and 3^rd party inspections are completed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Custom Residential Construction Project Management Experience
• Ability to read, interpret, and communicate drawings

Proficiency required in:
•    Procore
•    Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
•    Microsoft Project
•    Adobe Acrobat
