Job Description

Volt is looking for a Content Analyst to work on-site with our customer John Deere in Moline, IL on a contingent assignment forecasted for 3 yearsKey responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinates the technical creation of innovative written, visual and audio content for internet pages so that the web site is appealing, informative and satisfying to the visitor and is competitive in the marketplace.
  • Manages and publishes web content by interacting with marketing groups, legal, other divisions and the enterprise to maintain current and relevant product and service information.
  • Analyzes existing data and content (print, electronic, survey data, etc.) to ensure that when used on the web, the content conveys a consistent tone and credible message to the online audience.
  • Provides guidance and supports business partners and external vendors in the creation of web technologies and content to ensure that the John Deere and industry web standards are met in delivering a functional and dynamic site.
  • Communicates with internal stakeholders to ensure the needs and goals of web projects are met.


  • Looking for exceptional communicators with effective writing skills, grammatical usage, persuasive copy and style.
  • Must thrive in a team environment.
  • Ideally should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Management, Information Technology, or a Marketing discipline or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in website publishing.
  • 2 or more years’ experience in proofreading within a corporate environment.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft tools
  • Working knowledge of basic HTML including experience in Dreamweaver or other HTML editing tool.
  • A strong candidate will have web content system knowledge, ideally including Teamsite, Akeneo and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of various communication skills such as design, editing, photography, audio visual, web, journalism, marketing and advertising and/or project management or web-publishing or web-design experience.

This position is subject to US Export Controls. Must be a US Citizen or lawful permanent resident.
