Job Description

Position: Contract Maintenance Execution Specialist     

Location: Frankford, PA

Status: Direct Hire

The Contract Maintenance Execution Specialist is part of the Maintenance Management Team and will provide technical & execution support to the Contract Maintenance partners at the Frankford Plant.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Contractors are following safe work practices & techniques.  Responsible for ensuring the safe execution of job packages.
  • Interface with Operations, Maintenance, and Reliability teams to ensure mechanical technical items are addressed and repairs are completed appropriately.
  • Ensure compliance of contractor mechanical job packages to ASIX engineering and pipe standards.
  • Provide scope of work to contractors and ensure quality of planned job packages.
  • Responsible for contractor maintenance schedule execution, including adjusting to changes to meet schedule & cost goals.
  • Ensures all plant contractors meet safety and environmental regulations and procedures
  • Prepares and/or facilitates “Life Critical” plant work permits for contractors assuring proper notification and signatures of proper plant personnel. (LOTO, Hot Work, Line Break, Confined Space, and Critical Lifts)
  • Ensures contractors are trained on any site-specific procedures, Fall Protection and Scaffolding Awareness, etc.
  • Reports monthly manpower numbers for safety.
  • Confirm on-site construction personnel meet the site/Company security and safety requirements.
  • Leads monthly contractor safety meetings
  • Responsible for the labor productivity of contracted maintenance workers
  • Continuously evaluate site conditions and requirements, adjust work scope, practices or procedures as required.
  • Key point of contact for mechanical contractors in all areas onsite.
  • Ensure excellence in relationships between Operations, Maintenance, Contractor Partners & Site stakeholders.
  • Participate in the Site’s Maintenance & Operations Work Management Process meetings to manage weekly work schedules. Issue daily progress reports. 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of mechanical industry experience required in petrochemical industry.
  • Proven experience leading construction projects.
  • Experience using Microsoft applications such as WORD or EXCEL
  • Excellent technical skills in one or more areas including: mechanical equipment, piping, structural steel, concrete, proven industry mechanical experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years’ experience in leading construction execution as a foreman, superintendent, or other leadership role in the petrochemical industry.
  • Interpersonal skills: Relates well to all levels and kinds of people; Able to build appropriate rapport; Listens well.
  • Self-starter; Results driven; Anticipates/initiates and implements solutions; proactive.
  • Action Oriented: Full of energy for the things that need to be accomplished; Bias for action; Decision-maker, Team player.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to perform multiple simultaneous tasks at a high level of quality.
