Job Description:
-Provide guidance on U.S. Government export/import regulations including the Arms Export Control Act (AECA), the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Act (EAA), and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

-Assists in developing and integrating licensing strategies including the compliant use of approved export/import authorizations and exemptions or exceptions to maximize outcomes for various programs.

-Obtains necessary export/import authorizations to ensure full compliance with all regulatory agencies as well as to meet contractual deadlines for hardware shipments and/or the provision of authorized technical data and/or defense services.

-Prepares export/import authorization applications to include DSP-5, DSP-73, and DSP-61 licenses as well as TAAs, MLAs, and WDAs for review by the company's Empowered Official for ultimate submittal to the appropriate licensing agency within the U.S. Government.

-Ensures all approved authorizations are obtained in a timely manner and handles all post-approval compliance activities concerning the approved license/authorization.

-Reviews and approves international travel requests and foreign visitor requests for the programs

Top 3 Skills: Proficient in Export Licensing & Agreements, Complete understanding of US Export and Import regulations - primarily the ITAR, Previous defense industry experience.

Education / Experience:
-Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in export/import licensing and compliance
-Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, ATF and other U.S. Gov't regulations as well as DDTC's The Guidelines for Preparing Agreements and other DDTC published guidance on license preparation and BIS published guidance
-Proficient in the use of OCR EASE software
-Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience required
