An Amazing company in Burbank CA is hiring for a Contributions Analyst that will be responsible for evaluating Pension and Health Benefits contributions  to Participants plans.

This is a analyst role, offering salary of $45,000 annually to start, healthcare benefits for the employee are 100% paid by employer,  and you get a Pension!

You will be accurately evaluating and processing contribution/distribution records and other data from employers and plan Participants; processing incoming receivables; reconciling payments with reports; assisting in document imaging; and providing excellent customer service to every customer. This includes internal Fund staff as well external customers such as production companies, payroll services, Participants, and the Union. The Analyst will also assist the Manager with special projects.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure that plan Participants’ Pension and Health benefits are processed accurately by using computers and other communications equipment to input and analyze large amounts of data. This data includes earnings reports that communicate the amounts of benefit contributions are received on behalf of Plan Participants
  • Enter reports manually, and upload reports electronically by editing the data files for standardization using current policies and procedures
  • Examine the reports carefully, organize them, use the appropriate databases to research information and reconcile payments and adjustments
  • Verify the reports are assigned to the appropriate Collective bargaining agreement and Fund rates
  • Coordinate the billing and collection of short paid receivables and assist in accounts receivable by processing and editing payments
  • Responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by communicating precise and accurate information to internal staff, Participants and employers regarding forms, covered services, business rules, and payments
  • Relay information to the document center in preparing documents for imaging in the archiving system and collaborates internally with Eligibility, Finance, and the internal Audit teams

Requirements 

  • Four year college degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience in finance, accounts receivable, payroll, or bookkeeping
  • Experience in the entertainment industry preferred
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to excellence
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, interest, and common business functions
