Volt has an opportunity for you to become part of a prestigious team of professionals. We are seeking a Cooling Engineer to work onsite at our client’s facility in Mossville, IL. This is a contingent position expected to last 1 year.   

Candidate Responsibilities:

  • This position is responsible for developing and validating cooling components in accordance with the NPI and APQP process to improve performance, reliability, durability and costs for new and existing products.
  • Responsible for current product issue resolutions, coordinating all supplier related activities, creating technical specifications, conducting deign FMEA’s, developing component DVP&R’s, presenting formal design reviews, procuring design hardware, coordinating validation testing and analysis activities, cost reduction activities and releasing drawing and solid models.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering and 5 years of work experience with component design and validation or
  • Master’s degree with 2 years of design and validation (school work experience not considered).
  • Ability to work in Creo.
  • Understanding of FMEA, DVP&R and APQP process.
