Job Description

Volt seeks seasoned Recruiters to become a member of our Client’s Talent Acquisition human resources team.  The Recruiter will enable the programs success by finding the right people, at the right time and location, with the right skills.

The Recruiter will have responsibility for the development and execution of recruitment strategies that support business initiatives. The selected candidate will partner with leaders to coach and mentor on talent acquisition process, HR policies, state and federal laws to include OFCCP compliance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for partnering with functional business leaders and Human Resource partners to assess talent requirements, create staffing strategies, source, extend offers and develop comprehensive strategies to attract talent.
  • Facilitate the delivery of processes that enable the organization to meet business objectives; support leaders and hiring managers in one or more client groups and pro-actively engage leadership teams to establish a common understanding of Talent Acquisition policies, processes, and service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources counterparts throughout the talent acquisition cycle.
  • Maintain compliance in accordance with the OFCCP, CPGE, competitive hire requirements and company policies and effectively influence hiring managers regarding their compliance responsibilities.
  • Accurate record keeping including applicant tracking, and other hiring related documentation

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • A minimum of 2 years of related Talent Acquisition experience
  • Experience and understanding of leading edge recruiting techniques and tools including social networking (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook), Boolean searching and traditional networking methodologies
  • Experience with a DoD or other Federal Contractor Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) principles
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience filling high volume number of positions (30+) in various disciplines at all levels of an organization
  • Experience influencing and partnering with Human Resources and hiring managers regarding the recruiting process
  • Understanding of employment law principles
  • Experience coaching managers regarding Talent Acquisition processes and policies
  • Experience building effective working relationships with a broad range of management styles at all levels in the organization
  • Must be able to work with all levels of the organization and handle high levels of confidentiality
  • Experience with excel

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline. An additional 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems, such as Kenexa, Taleo and Success Factors.
  • Advanced level candidate pre-closing and closing skills with proven ability to determine viable prospects
  • Experience delivering training to business partners
  • Experience in a high volume, transaction-oriented search firm recruiting environment
  • PHR , SPHR Certification; Boolean Algebra technique certification i.e., AIRS
  • Demonstrated creative problem solving ability and excellent teamwork skills
  • Proficiency with Excel to include Pivot Tables and Macros
