Job Description

The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, qualifying and presenting potential candidates for in house positions available within Volt Management Corp. This will include thoroughly qualifying in house positions with hiring managers, pre-screening and interviewing candidates, verifying references on potential candidates and making hiring recommendations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify the client's business and culture, as well as define the position, its functions, challenges selling points, and viability. Uncover the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities of the ideal candidate.
  • Obtain accurate job descriptions from hiring managers.
  • Coordinate with Business Development Managers and Account Managers to ensure quality delivery to client's requisitions. Work with sales team on account development and account management.
  • Source candidates by means of direct recruitment, referral network, Internet job boards, branch referrals, and traditional recruiting methods to identify potential Volt Workforce Solutions employees.
  • Interview, qualify and verify references and degrees on potential candidates.
  • Present candidates to hiring managers and coordinate all interviewing activities.
  • Identify with hiring managers local/area/regional and national recruiting sources.
  • Ongoing development of recruiting strategies in geographical locations of existing Volt branches.
  • Develop ongoing referral network in geographical locations of existing Volt branches.
  • Ongoing identification of staffing industrial professionals making branch/area/regional hiring managers aware of their availability.
  • Make professional recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Verify and negotiate salary requirements.
  • Provide ongoing communication and support through new employee transition.
  • Identify resources to best identify the top talent in the industry.
  • Ability to arrive to work at a specified time.
  • Attendance is an essential function of the job.



Position Qualifications: Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

  • Minimum 5 years recruiting experience preferred.
  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in comparable field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
