Job Description

Volt is currently seeking a highly qualified Courseware and training development Instructor to join one of our clients in Meza, AZ. Our client offers exciting job opportunities as one of the world's largest aerospace companies and by being a leading manufacturer of commercial jetliners and defense, space and security systems.

  • Qualifications required as an AH-64 D/E Yankee (avionics/armament specialist) along with very recent experience in attack helicopter avionics and armament.
  • Must have in-depth and proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
  • Develops courseware and executes training requirements for the Apache in the classroom, on simulators, and through practical application of task performance on actual Apache training hardware and associated training devices.
  • Training to occur for both maintainers and pilots.
  • Prepare training courses to include development and modification of course materials and technical/training manuals and materials that reflect the customer's actual aircraft configuration
  • Proficient in the preparation of lesson plans, curriculum outlines and POIs.
  • Proficient in conducting training on technical materials including all major Apache components. Uses current teaching techniques, advanced presentation skills and instructional methods; to include computer based training (CBT) and Instructor Led Training (ILT).
  • Applicant must have strong communicative and presentations skills, and through observation and written evaluations, determine that a student has an understanding of materials covered during conduct of training and is proficient in the performance of relative tasks with or without additional instructional intervention.
  • Assists with proposal development. Assists with analysis of customer technical training needs. Uses specialized software technology to research, configure, maintain, update and develop new and existing media and materials. Must have the ability to read schematics and technical drawings

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience
  • Master’s degree and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:

Must have a courseware and training background. Must have strong Apache Yankee background and strong proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
