Job Title: Creative Resource Manager

Location: Glendale, Ca

Pay rate: 34.80/hr

Schedule: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Duration: 6 months

The Creative Resource Manager works within the creative department and facilitates a steady workflow between the creative department and all other areas of the agency. The Creative Resource Manager further facilitates effective operation of the creative department by assisting the creative team leadership with managing the creative budget, freelance resources and assignment workload. The CRM reports to the Director, Creative.

• Must be CREATIVELY-MINDED, PASSIONATELY CURIOUS ABOUT CREATIVE TOPICS, current in industry breaking news, trends and emerging creative talent.
• A key responsibility will be to maintain a pipeline of freelance talent for illustrators, designers, art directors, copywriters, etc. and make sure all creative team members are supported when additional resources are needed.
• Must function as the primary interface with Account Management and Project Management on behalf of the creative department. They are the first point of contact for all assignment generation requiring creative output.
• Will be required to work in Workfront Project Tracking (this is a MUST HAVE) system to generate assignments and keep a pulse on all incoming projects
• Communication skills both, WRITTEN AND VERBAL, must be of the HIGHEST CALIBER-with clarity of thought and professionalism being critical.
• Will be required to develop and maintain a cohesive organizational department structure/processes, maximize budgets (as needed), maintain team schedules and create overall efficiencies in the creative department.
• The CRM must be INQUISITIVE and a walking source of information at all times for the agency as it relates to the creative department; must be comfortable having a pulse on a large volume of creative work.
• PROACTIVELY solve creative problems for the team.
• The CRM will also help manage award show entries and establish a system for general creative department produced work archives and PR.
• Maintain all PTO schedules
• Maintain a weekly status of all creative employee projects to be shared with managing CD’s, GCD and Director
• Maintain VP/SVP creative review agendas
• Coordinate intern recruitment and on-boarding process; coordinate on-boarding process for full time hires along with lead admins
• 5 years in an agency setting, or related experience
• Liberal arts (4 year) degree is preferred
• Management training

• Must be comfortable managing personalities and wearing a variety of “hats”
• Must possess clear and consistent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be adept in time management, meeting deadlines, adhering to structure
• CONFIDENTIALITY and the handling of PROPRIATARY information is required
• Must be able to use all standard office software and PC/MAC capabilities; project tracking system knowledge is highly preferred.
• Agency background highly preferred.
