Volt Workforce Solutions is hiring a credit and collections analyst in the Rohnert Park area.

Credit And Collections Analyst. Job in Rohnert Park, CA.

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Be responsible for large volume of customer accounts

• Adhere to credit and collection policies and procedures

• Prepare, review and analyze customers aging reports

• Initiate collection attempts via phone calls, e-mails and mailings

• Provide customer service

• Receive incoming phone calls from customers and colleagues

• Obtain customer payments

• Process credit card payments

• Create account adjustments

• Resolve short pays, deductions, or discrepancies’

• Prepare and mail reminder and past due letters

• Prepare lien releases

• Evaluate credit limits

• Work with sales team

• Re-send invoice and statement copies to customers as requested

• Communicate with customer and salesman when customer accounts have been placed on hold

• Update customer account information as needed

• Other tasks as assigned

• History within a Credit Department or Accounts Receivable.

• Experience with California Lien Law

• Ability to reconcile accounts and communicate effectively about that recon.

Educational and Experience Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field experience preferred

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Credit and Collections

• Prior experience with UCC filings, Letters of Credit, bank and personal guarantees

Other Qualifications:

• Strong computer skills MS Office and ERP

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong negotiating skills

• Basic understanding of credit reporting services (D&B, Equifax)

• Experienced in reading and interpreting financial statements for the purpose of underwriting credit

• Ability to maintain highest standards of professional and personal integrity in dealing with all levels of Company personnel, customers, financial institutions and vendors

• Strong audit background, problem solving and customer service skills

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Self-motivated

• Confidence

• Flexibility

• Organized - will be juggling many hats, many decisions and many needs at one time
