Job Description

We are looking to hire a Credit Processing Specialist Level 2 for our Client in Oakville, ON for approximately a 5 months' assignment with the possibility of extension.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Title: Credit Processing Specialist Level 2

  • Pay rate: upto $19.59/hr (T4) + benefits available
  • Length of Assignment: 5 months assignment from 07/03/2018 to 12/15/2018
  • Shift: generally from 8am-4:30pm EST (M-F) or  8:30am-5pm EST (M-F)  + required to work overtime after hours and on Saturdays as needed
  • Hours per week (paid): 40hrs ; 8 hrs per day
  • Number of Openings: 1

**Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information**

**Candidates with Finance, Auditing of lending documentation + incoming retail contracts + verifying PPSA registration documents experience preferred**

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and audits lending documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Responds to and resolves moderately complex service issues and requests.
  • Pulls credit report information and prepares customer credit file.
  • Prepares lending documentation and processes change requests

Requirements:

  • Auditing of incoming contracts and supporting documentation.
  • Understanding of financial concepts to understand the processing of a contract.
  • Phone work with third parties and our dealer organization.
  • Core Hours will be either 8am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5pm Mon-Fri. Overtime is part of this function including Saturdays.
  • Working with other departments such as Credit and Marketing to ensure the accurate processing of a contract including special rates and charging subsidies, buydowns, etc.
  • Training will be provided and a background in Finance would be beneficial
  • Ability to conduct audits and review documentation.
