Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position is a key role that interfaces directly with customers to ensure consumable orders are placed correctly, released to shipping in a timely manner (meeting SLA), and completed on daily basis. This person also provides timely resolution and customer service when issues arise. This person coordinates fulfillment activities and sets priorities with the warehouse lead and communicates any challenges with Account Managers.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Order Fulfilment Specialist is the customer liaison and coordinates the following activities with internal  individuals and departments.

Order receipt and process:

  • Receives customer purchase orders and checks for completeness and accuracy.
  • Communicates order issues back to customers.
  • Ensure customer orders are processed daily without errors and without delay to shipping personnel to meet  SLA (service level agreement).
  • Update daily, weekly consumable shipping log for Canada and Mexico orders.
  • Coordinates with international 3PLs for order fulfilment activities.
  • Responds to customer calls related to new orders with in SLA.
  • Responds to customer calls related to customer service challenges within SLA.
  • Escalates customer service calls to Account Managers and Supply Chain management where escalation is needed.
  • Work with Purchasing to review backorders and communicate delays to customers.
  • Work with warehouse lead to prioritize daily activities and orders.
  • Ensure backup and support for order process and management, and phone coverage for customer support.
  • Update Monthly Activities order processing log.
  • Tracks shipping errors as reported by customers in Shipping Error Log.
  • Escalate fulfillment issues that would delay customer order shipments to Supply Chain management.
  • Follows up and bills customers for non-returned parts (drill bits and injectors).
  • Monitors and communicates shipping carrier exceptions and delays.
  • Processes customer returns and credits.

Pay $15/hr.
