Customer Service Account Support Advisor

Volt is hiring 60 people for a team of Account Support Advisors to work onsite with our client, a world-leader in smart phone and mobile computing devices. If you have great customer service experience, enjoy technology, and love being a problem-solver, we want to talk to you!

Job Description

In this role, you’ll be providing account security support for our client's popular mobile device products, including their industry-leading smart phones and tablets. As our customers’ first point of contact, you’ll be the friendly voice of our client, providing award-winning customer service, troubleshooting, and account support. We’ll rely on you to listen to our customers and use your technical ability, creativity, and passion for technology and customer service to meet their needs — and remind them that behind these great products are amazing people.

Job Details

  • Pay Rate: $14.50 hourly
  • Start Date: March 26th, 2018, and April 2nd, 2018
  • Assignment Length: 12 months

For whom are we looking?

You’re a customer service pro, a great communicator (written and verbal), a problem-solver, and someone who’s amazing with customers!  You’re enthralled by the way things work, and have the ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot apps on your smart devices. You can multitask across systems and applications, analyze and resolve a variety of complex technical issues, and comfortably navigate a Windows and/or Mac environment. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time. You’re not only here to help fix technical issues, but also to provide an incredible customer experience.

  • Able to adapt approach to different communication styles
  • Ability to manage multiple applications running at the same time
  • Enjoys troubleshooting technology
  • iOS, Smartphone, Tablet, PC or Mac experience

 Work Requirements

  • Flexibility to work between the hours of 7:00 am and 10:30 p.m. (Central Time Zone) including weekends, with the possibility to flex up or down hours depending upon business needs
  • Successful completion of initial training
  • Minimum typing speed of 35 wpm while talking with customers
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements, including a criminal background check
