Financial Customer Service Representatives - St. Paul

Volt Workforce Solutions has partnered with a well-known financial institution in Downtown St. Paul who is looking to add Financial Customer Service Representatives to their team!

Job expectations include but not limited to:

  • Answer inbound calls regarding insurance and financial issues
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Handle complex communications regarding topics such as plan, contract, state and federal rules, which impact our procedures
  • Solve difficult problems via phone calls

Hours: 8 hour shift with a start time as early as 7:00am and an end time as late as 6:00pm.

Pay Rate: $16-$17.45/hour

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Previous telephone customer service experience, preferably in a contact center environment.
  • Genuine commitment to providing a positive customer experience.
  • Ability to think on your feet, demonstrating good judgment in responding to customers.
  • Initiative in using resources for researching and responding to questions, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, friendly and professional phone manner, and grammatically correct and concise written correspondence.
  • Recommendations for improving how we do business, partnering with coworkers across the department to provide better service to our customers.
  • Strong PC skills, including the ability to use multiple systems interchangeably.
  • Ability to manage high call volumes and adapt to changing work priorities.
  • Ability to work well independently and as a team member. 
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed in peak work months.
