Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions has partnered with a leading manufacturing company in Irvine to help identify a Customer Service Associate for immediate hire.

In this role you will:

  • Receive and process customers’ orders
  • Resolve customer questions related to orders
  • Receive and analyze customers requests and correspond with customers to provide requested information
  • Generate invoices and price quotes for customers
  • Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints
  • Manage customer accounts and database of contact info
  • Conduct inventory checks for customer
  • Send confirmation of order to customer
  • Process credit card purchases with QuickBooks
  • Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of product line, prices, delivery time, drop ship items, various marketing promotional services and similar data
  • Assist in returns and replacements
  • Collaborate with Accounting department for customer credit card charges and customer hold accounts
  • Traces status of orders through Shipping
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM system
  • Maintain Excel spreadsheets for inventory control
  • Input new customers into the database
  • Initiate promo codes and computer input for tracking
  • Other duties as assigned

We are looking for someone with 1 – 2 years of related customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Position is temp. Hours are day shift and full time.  Pay rate is $16-19/hr.
