                                                                                                      Description/Comment: Contractor will be primarily responsible for the processing of online web orders generated from Individual must have general product knowledge of the Construction industry including knowledge of the products associated with this industry. The Customer Service Associate must have verbal communication skills as well as email and telephone skills. This will typically require a minimum of 6 months prior customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment, computer literacy, articulate communication skills, clear speaking voice, ability to listen with patience and understanding, and the ability to provide excellent customer service. Start Time: 10:00 AM Hours: 10:00am to 7:00pm Location: GA - Norcross Education:   Additional Job Details: Job Summary Provide customer service by responding to inquiries regarding product selection, services and issues. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities • Responds to customer order and quotation requests received via the telephone, e-mail, written, and faxed correspondence. • Performs necessary follow-up to ensure customer service expectations are met. • Researches and suggests alternative products to customer. • Uses computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting. Nature and Scope • Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices or instruction. Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor. Deviations from the norm are cleared by the supervisor. • Under close supervision, exercises limited latitude/independent judgment. Work typically involves detailed checks or close review of output by a senior co-worker and/or supervisor. Work Environment • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. Minimum Qualifications • Must be eighteen years of age • Must pass the Drug Test • Must pass the Background Check • Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable Education and Experience • HS Diploma or GED required. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility. Preferred Qualifications • Industry product knowledge • Customer service • Oracle knowledge is a plus, but not required • General knowledge of website functionality • Ability to respond to customer inquiries as it relates to issues and/or concerns regarding online orders • Ability to multi-task on a day-to-day basis • Easily able to communicate inquiries related to shipping & fulfillment • Basic Microsoft Office skills • Must be able to use "good judgment" when processing/handling online orders
