Customer Service Representative- NE Minneapolis

Volt Workforce Solutions has partnered a growing medical supply company in NE Minneapolis looking to add a Customer Service Representative to their team!

Job Responsibilities:

• This position spends 75% or more time on the phone and includes receiving a high volume of inbound calls and performing outbound return calls to patients.

• Provide caring and friendly service to all potential customers contacting us for service via telephone in a high-volume call center environment.

• Perform a thorough qualifying process with each potential customer which includes insurance verification, gathering physician information, and determining the right products for each qualified customer.

• Actively listen to customers to help them identify all of the products we offer to meet their needs.

• Provide continued follow up with qualified customers through delivery of their first order.

• Accurately document customer interactions and appropriately follow all processes and procedures.

Hours: M-F (8:00am-4:30pm or 9:00am-5:30pm)

Pay: $14-$15.50/hour

Experience Needed:

• Excellent phone skills.

• Must have a MINIMUM of 2 years of recent office experience

• Good written and verbal communication skills; will be expected to become proficient in some medical terminology

• Strong customer service experience.

• Demonstrated computer literacy. Must have working knowledge of the following Microsoft products: Excel, Outlook, and Word.

• Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, solve problems and make decisions.

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Previous customer service experience; high volume call center experience preferred.

• Healthcare/Insurance industry background preferred.

• Understanding of Medicare/Medicaid a plus.
