Job Description

Insurance Coordinator 

In this role you will be responsible for communicating with customers, insurance agents, and dealers to verify insurance on retail and lease accounts. In addition, you will:


• Respond to inquiries from internal staff, dealers, Sentry Insurance, outside insurance agencies and customers
• Maintain accurate records and enter data into appropriate systems
• Evaluate insurance documentation provided from insurance companies to verify collateral is insured
• Support the claims process by providing relevant documentation to appropriate parties

What skills you need:
• Experience in a call center environment that utilizes customer service quality standards
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience working with a variety of computer applications with the ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge accurately
• Effective negotiation, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent business communication, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively in a close team environment

What makes you stand out:
• Experience working in a finance or insurance environment.
• Knowledge of Accounting fundamentals, including debits/credits
• Successful experience working in a team environment

Education Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business / Management or equivalent experience in a customer service environment

Years of Experience Required: 1+ years experience

Must Haves:
A) Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completed work B) Experience working with a variety of computer applications with the ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge accurately
C) Phone skills – either experience in a call center environment or proven ability to professionally represent an organization to customers via phone.

Must be able to pass drug screen, and background.
