Job Description

Volt is seeking compassionate and emphatic Customer Service Reps to join our team working with our client, a leader in the medical industry, in the St. Petersburg, FL area. This is a long term temporary assignment with the possibility of converting to client's staff depending on factors such as attendance and performance.

Job Duties:

• Practice exceptional customer service and telephone techniques
• Deliver verbatim scripting.
• Ability to maintain patience and professionalism with plan members.
• Ability to listen to members and multi-task.
• Ability to utilize rebuttals and address member concerns in a detailed manner.
• Maintain member confidentiality and follow all HIPAA guidelines.
• Demonstrate the ability to navigate multiple systems in order to schedule nurse practitioner appointments.
• Ability to meet quality assessments standards and call monitoring requirements
• Cooperate with co-workers and management while working toward department goals
• Maintain center standards for performance and productivity
• Follow all center policies and procedures.

Other responsibilities include:

• Document interactions and outcomes in client's system
• Meet or exceed member engagement goals on a consistent basis
• Work collaboratively with other members of the clinical leadership team
• Maintain and improve quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines; recommend improvements as identified
• Must meet all compliance and privacy requirements set forth for proper member engagement

Role Essentials

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Six months of recent relevant experience in a high production call center environment
• Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Able to use a variety of electronic information processing tools and multiple software programs
• Professional, interactive written and verbal communication skills
• High level of detail and organization skills
• High level of knowledge retention
• Able to multi-task without losing sight of accuracy & quality
• Able to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without direct supervision
• Able to thrive in a fast paced environment
• Able to work a full time (40 hours) and flexible work schedule including some Saturdays during busy season. 

• Bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish); speaking, reading, writing, interpreting and explaining documents in Spanish and English
