Customer Service Rep

North Portland

Full time, 40 hours per week

M-F, 4-month assignment 

$17 Hourly 

Key Objective for the role:

  • Acts as a critical liaison between the customer, sales and operations team
  • Receive and process routine customer orders, inquiries and/or customer issues related to orders
  • Provide pricing, inventory availability and production schedule to customers
  • Run customized reports, track order inventory and suggest alternative products or services to meet customers’ needs
  • Communicate with Quality Manager to resolve any customer issues

Experience and Requirements:

  • 3+ years of customer service experience required
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing industry preferred
  • Ability to work in an environment with elevated noise
  • Order entry system experience preferred (e.g. AS/40)
  • Provide superior customer service both verbally and written
  • Work effectively within a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills required
  • Must have strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience including Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required
