Inbound Call Center Representative

$12.50/hour – Day, Swing Shifts Available
Must be able to work weekends & Must know Outlook

Non- sales -- Inbound call center only. Average call time is 1 minute!!!


Volt's Client, Corporate Translation Services INC. is a rapidly growing Language Translation Interpretation Company located in Vancouver, WA. The CSR answers customer calls, coordinates job requests, and provides telephone support services to clients. This is a fast-paced call center, where the average CSR takes 200 inbound calls per day. There are potential career advancement opportunities with this organization. The Customer Service Representative will connect clients to interpreters that speak over 240 different languages. This Company operates 24/7. Work shifts will be eight hours in length. Full-time 40 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Take incoming calls from providers (customers) needing interpreters for appointments.
  • Answer multi-line phone system.
  • Perform data entry by entering job request information into company database.
  • Find available interpreters and coordinate assignments.
  • Provide interpreter with all needed information (job number, location, client, etc.)
  • Resolve customer complaints if need be.

This is a temp-to-hire position in Vancouver, WA and is offered through Volt Workforce Solutions which is located in Portland, OR. Customer Service Qualifications:

  • Pre-employment screenings are required.
  • Must have an excellent track record of attendance and punctuality.
  • 1+ year of call center experience is required.
  • 1+ year of customer service experience is required.
  • Must have a good memory. Client information is constantly evolving and adapting, yet must be memorized.
  • Able to gather information and ask the right probing questions.
  • Team player; able to jump in and help out when needed.


High School Diploma or its equivalent General Education Diploma is required
