Job Description

Customer Service Specialist - Direct Hire 

A successful Customer Service Rep will understand and have the passion to listen to the voice of the customer and take ownership in all aspects of responding to their customer's business needs.   

The ideal candidate will use strong communication and teamwork skills, to build partnerships and deliver exceptional results for new and existing clients. This is not sales related or sales support position, but solely focused on the customer experience and results.  

This is a direct hire position and our client offers a competitive salary and benefits package.  

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide customer service support for new or existing orders, returns and products.  
  • Process orders, expedite shipments, and estimate/quote when applicable.
  • Communicate effectively to Production, Quality and Shipping teams to ensure customer orders meet specifications and delivery times.  

This position will require spending time on the production floor, walking to and from different departments, as well as working a traditional customer service desk.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous customer service support experience - experience working in a manufacturing environment is always a plus, but not absolutely required
  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree in related field - strongly desired
  • Enjoys doing something different each day to exceed expectations and drive successful results
  • Professional communication and service with a smile that can be heard on the phone 
  • Accuracy, problem solving and time management skills will be required daily
  • Ability to support various tasks from multiple departments, in a very fast-paced environment   
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and ability to learn new software will be required
  • Can work well in a "One Team" environment
