Job Description

Volt is hiring a team of top-notch Customer Service Representatives to provide support to the providers and customers of our client, a leader in the health care industry.  

The Customer Service Representative will assess and rout incoming calls to the client’s call center to ensure quick and accurate resolution of the callers’ requests. These are potentially contingent-to-hire positions which could result in being hired on to our client’s staff.

Starting pay for these positions is $14.00 per hour plus available benefits package.


  • Practice exceptional customer service and telephone techniques on inbound and outbound calls
  • Review incoming requests and process efficiently
  • Identify the best solution to the caller’s needs for quick resolution
  • Work with stakeholders to authorize services as necessary
  • Communicate clearly and provide quality service to providers and end-user customers
  • Use established scripts verbatim in order to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Abide by HIPPA guidelines to safeguard client's confidentiality
  • Utilize multiple systems including appointment-setting software to schedule medical personnel appointments
  • Perform duties to meet or exceed established standards and call monitoring metrics
  • Use the client’s systems to complete and record all activity (training provided)


  • Minimum High School diploma; post-secondary education preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 6 months call center experience in a customer service, collections, or sales environment
  • Must be able to work between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday (possible hours on Saturdays during peak periods)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum ability to type 35 WPM / 6500 KSPH with accuracy
  • Ability to efficiently multi-task between multiple systems
  • Background Check, Education Verification, and Drug Screen required prior to assignment start
