Job Description

This is a temp to hire position in Pasadena, TX Pay range $16 to $20 hourly

Job Description:

To provide professional customer service by interfacing with customers, suppliers, sales representatives, and other employees in functional areas such as finance and production.


• Manages order administration (Sales Order entry, Repair Approvals and coordinating Repair purchase orders, managing customer purchase orders, order status monitoring, generation of invoices)

• Manages Delivery Metrics per RDSL/PDSL and meets customer requirements by using appropriate lead time tools, administering to terms and conditions.

• Informs management of issues or areas of conflict that may pose a threat to company’s relationship with customers

• Communicates professionally and effectively via telephone, e-mail and/or other standard methods

• Provides a highly responsive service oriented interface for the customer and Field Sales

• Initiates discussions with customers to meet or exceed expectations of timeliness and quality

• Resolves problems pertaining to order administration, completion and post order activities by effectively utilizing resources (reports, tools, subject matter experts)

• When required, review contract to identify and document all requirements as defined in customer purchase order, buying agreement, change order(s), specifications, terms and conditions, and commercial requirements prior to acceptance

• Verify sales orders for accuracy and completeness

• Perform Quality Assurance controls on Order Entry.

• Facilitate cycle/inventory counting and physical inventory.

• Run Critical Reports for End of Period

• Other duties as assigned


• High School or Equivalency Degree required; Associates Degree preferred

• Minimum three to five years of customer service and sales/purchase order management experience

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

• Oracle experience or equivalent MRP

• MS Office Skills, a plus
