We are actively seeking a Field Service Support Specialist for our client in Durham, NC. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic company that is a global leader in the field of in vitro diagnostics.

The duration of the assignment is up to nine months.

The Field Service Support Specialist position is responsible for developing and utilizing SAP to manage the needs of their respective service region(s) to meet the customer demands and achieve customer satisfaction goals.  

  • Regional Service Call Closure (installations, PMs, repairs, and upgrades) - monitors and works with the Field Service Engineers to ensure timely and accurate call closure and attainment of departmental goals.
  • Regional Administrative Support- works directly with regional teams to provide necessary support.
  • Regional revenue generation – accurate and timely closure of billable labor activities, and tracking and resolution of errors preventing closure of billable labor activities.
  • Maintaining accurate reconciliation of Billing- by working with Field Service Leaders to research and issue debits/credits on a monthly basis.


  • High School diploma or GED required;
  • Two to three years of experience working in an Office Environment;
  • Strong basic office skills and good organizational ability;
  • Demonstrates the ability to follow written and verbal instructions;
  • Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • General Business knowledge such as basic Finance, Marketing, Sales & Accounting;
  • Preferred Skills:  MS-Word, MS-Excel, SAP, Billing and Invoicing.
