Job Description

We are hiring for an Apprentice Electrician  in an electronics assembly environment.

The Apprentice Electrician is responsible for processing returned product and performing system diagnosis and repair, telephone support and troubleshooting for escalated customer service issues, and component repair to board level, where necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot over the phone with customers to determine a problem/solution
  • Maintain the company's 7 business-day turn around goal for most repairs by quickly diagnosing equipment problems, repairing and completing transactions in a fast and efficient manner
  • Provide occasional installation support for local clients and our internal sales department
  • Enter repair information in our database to include parts used, labor codes and troubleshooting information, etc.
  • Enter parts exchange orders, accessories orders and other sales orders as needed when working with customers and sales department
  • Enter call log and customer information within database system


  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school and one to three years related experience and/or training
  • Knowledge of RF, analog and digital circuitry
  • Knowledge of soldering and techniques
  • Ability to quickly determine or analyze problem(s) and communicate to customer
  • Customer care skills, including the ability to diffuse a difficult customer situation
