Job Description

Volt is seeking candidates for eCommerce Customer Service Specialists in the county just in time for holiday season.  Viable candidates will be responding to incoming customer inquires promptly, professionally and in adherence to the company policies via email including, but not limited to:

  • Address and payment information
  • Order adjustments
  • Escalated issues
  • Return policies and procedures
  • Research and resolve delivery issues
  • Process and refund return packages

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in working with computers and basic technologies
  • Ability to follow directions and self-manage
  • Ability to learn and comprehend tasks quickly
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for up to 4 hrs
  • Must be able to maintain a professional and positive attitude
  • Team oriented
  • Candidate must pass a spelling and grammar test of 75% or higher
  • Candidate must type a minimum of 40wmp
  • Past work experience in customer service setting

Preferred Skills, but not Required:

  • Prior knowledge of eCommerce
  • College degree
  • Knowledge of the beauty and cosmetic industry
  • Previous office experience
  • Strong motivation to reach and exceed daily quota

Work Environment and Hours:

  • Corporate office setting
  • Business-Casual attire
  • Core business hours: M-F 7am-5:30pm, however schedules vary depending on workload and time of year (i.e. holiday season)
  • Hours/per week can vary from 30-50 hrs, depending on workload and time of year (i.e. holiday season)
  • Must be able to complete 1 full week of training (20 hrs)
  • Must be available on weekends
  • Must be available through the holiday “black-out” period
