Client Representative – Sales Operations

Temporary position

Full time- 40 Hours per week

Hillsboro, OR

$19 Hourly

Our client is looking for a service-oriented Client Representative (temp to hire) – Sales Operations, who serves as the primary interface with customers (Distributors & Resellers) during all aspects of sales inquiries to the order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer needs are fully met.

The Client Representative builds and maintains positive customer relationships and works with other departments to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. This role focuses on coordinating support for multiple product lines.

Through excellent influencing skills, the successful candidate will be able to manage projects that require proactive communication with many internal and external parties, ultimately affecting the customer experience in a positive way.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work directly with reseller purchasing representatives to accept, confirm, place, release, and track a high volume of reseller orders, and authorize reseller returns
  2. Coordinate reseller returns cross-functionally with the warehouse, Finance and Technical Support
  3. Maximize the selling time for Account Managers by taking point on lead qualification pricing
  4. Use knowledge of our client, business model, values, and chosen customer intimacy marketing discipline to build effective relationships
  5. Analyze customer inquiries to determine and qualify new design win opportunities
  6. Coordinate customer purchase orders with the Legal, Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service departments
  7. Proactively work on shipping schedules based on customer needs
  8. Resolve production scheduling, shipping, or invoicing problems through communication with the functional representatives
  9. Handle customer quality or service issues after the sale, working with the respective manufacturing operations teams
  10. Support Marketing efforts by offering customer insight and knowledge in the development of outbound marketing communications
  11. Foresee potential order process problems and proactively resolve them before they significantly impact the customer
  12. Manage multiple e-mail inboxes concurrently

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  1. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management, and decision-making skills essential
  2. Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills in English via e-mail and telephone
  3. Ability to meet and exceed customer expectations
  4. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office required
  5. Demonstrated proficiency with order entry processes and systems required
  6. Ability to actively participate in team development and team-oriented processes

Education & Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
  2. At least one year of work experience in a high tech business environment
  3. Prior experience with an ERP and/or Client Relationship Manager system required
  4. Prior Sales Operations, Inside Sales, Customer Support, or Channel Sales experience preferred
  5. Flat panel display or video wall technologies experience is a plus
  6. Experience in Microsoft AX and highly desirable

May require occasional domestic travel to customers
