Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is looking for a product support call center temp employee at one of our clients in San Marcos, CA. 

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm through the busy summer season and some Saturday mornings.

The qualified applicant should be proficient in the following areas:

  • Basic computer skills.  Be able to answer and log calls using a computerized phone system and send emails using MS Outlook program.
  • Should have good writing, listening and customer relations skills.
  • Will respond to incoming customer irrigation questions and e-mails on the Company's technical support phone lines and website, including requests for product performance and specification information.   Assists in troubleshooting product problems, advises product capabilities, and recommends proper replacement parts and repair procedures.
  • Strong mechanical and technical skills.
  • Previous basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to take calls in a phone center from many different types of customers and assist them with their questions
  • Hunter is a landscape irrigation and lighting manufacturer.  Industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Literacy in Spanish is preferred.
  • Ability to answer phones while at a desk for the entire day.

Pay Rate: $17-20/hr. DOE
