Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is seeking a candidate to fill an immediate vacancy in the Elk Grove Area for an entry-level data analyst in a warehouse setting. Successful candidates will have strong Excel skills and a background interpreting data or similar education. Candidates with SQL experience are highly sought after. This position is a full time day shift with opportunity for overtime. Please see below for further job details and how to apply:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Product Quality manager in gathering and maintaining data for both daily and weekly KPI's (Key Point Indicators), yield rates, etc. 
  • Interpret and analyze information retrieved.
  • Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
  • Investigate production line when needed to eliminate or identify cause of data results.
  • Work both independently and interact with other teams to retrieve necessary information
  • Perform job functions in accordance with Company policies and procedures
  • Prepare reports, including conclusions and recommendations for improvements in production area.
  • Reviews and answers correspondence

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions from groups or managers.
  • Advanced Microsoft skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Great attention to detail with a methodical approach
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have the ability to work both independently and interact with other teams when necessary.
  • Previous experience in an office administrative role would be advantageous
  • Able to exemplify professional behavior in all aspects of their position.
  • Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills as well as administrative management skills
