Job Description

We are looking for a Data Center Site Service Technician. Volt's Client is an American multinational technology company that designs, develops, and sells consumer electronics, computer software, and online services.

The Site Services Deployment Technician is responsible for deploying and maintaining client's IT Infrastructure devices and cabling in a fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities, while maintaining high availability of the infrastructure.  A strong attention to detail and effective documentation skills are critical components to success in this position:

  • Install compute, network, and storage devices in data center environment as according to established procedures and standards per customer request and as directed by Data Center Site Services Managers and Leads
  • Run and connect cables for installed devices in data center, ensuring proper labeling, testing and validating of all connections
  • Follow all established procedures and standards of data center operations
  • Update and report daily activities
  • Perform infrastructure audits
  • Assist with troubleshooting operational issues of installed devices as directed, supporting B/F and data center infrastructure TASKs and projects.
