Job Title:  Data Collection Researcher bilingual

Location: Cambridge Massachusetts

This role focuses on language data, primarily in the areas of grammar writing, text annotation, and general localization deliverable.


The Language Data Associate must be capable of:

  • Building a thorough understanding of data labeling conventions and provide support to global sites
  • Localizing established guidelines from English into the Native language
  • Improving grammars and related artifacts by expanding coverage, and identifying and eliminating bugs
  • Delivering high quality data output under aggressive deadlines
  • Working autonomously with minimal direction
  • Handling unique data analysis requests from a range of data customers
  • Contributing to process improvements to reduce handling time and improve data output
  • Diving deep into issues and implement solutions independently
  • Providing quality expertise to other team members and coaching improvements

  • BA or BS degree
  • Business level fluency in English and fluency in the native language both written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills and a solution-oriented attitude

  • BA/BS degree in Linguistics/Computational Linguistics, or equivalent practical experience in data mark-up
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Experience working with grammars and other forms of NLP technology
  • Independent, proactive, and self-motivated with record in timely delivery of requests
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and learn in-house user-interface tools
  • Experience with command line tools
