Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is hiring a Data Entry/Warehouse Clerk in Poway!!

SUMMARY:

Provides administrative support to the Shipping Department by performing clerical/admin functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Receive and print out orders from the shipping team
  • Prepares shipping labels, organizes paperwork, sends ED Manifest.
  • Monitoring and coordinating outgoing deliveries
  • Maintain appropriate records, files and documentation regarding customer orders
  • Receive and sign off on all orders that are shipped
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Communicate professionally with customers and co-workers
  • Maintain current and accurate inventory of all products.
  • Self motivated with ability to work with limited supervision
  • Independent decision maker as needed to accomplish tasks
  • Must have a high level of computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to provide accurate entry of data and ability to handle administrative tasks as assigned
  • Ability to work with a variety of people without regard to race, color, age, sex, national origin, religion, creed, or disability
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  Minimum 1 year experience working in an office


SKILLS / ABILITIES:

  • Able to read and understand part drawings.
  • Good communication skills on phone and email; knowledge of FedEx Ship Manager a must
  • Minimum WPM:50
  • Minimum KPH:8000 
  • High attention to detail 
  • Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
  • Be able to work with little supervision.
