JOB SUMMARY 

The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for inputting data into existing databases quickly and accurately from a variety of sources, including handwritten and recorded reports.

1st shift from 8AM to 5PM

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Update databases or records with new information as it become available.
  • Enter data into appropriate fields; databases, records and files
  • Verify data by correctly checking and comparing source documentation
  • Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Correct and modify inaccurate files or records
  • Create and organize spreadsheets with large numbers
  • Work with various internal departments for data input into various databases
  • General office duties include but are not limited to: filing, scanning, sorting, and copying.
  • Cross train into other areas within the department

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience

  • 6 months to 1 year previous experience in data entry or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools (Excel)
