Job Title: Data Entry Clerk

Location: Chandler, AZ

Job Description:

As a Calibration Clerk your primary responsibilities are to receive items due calibration and check-in/out equipment in the calibration database. You will be responsible for maintaining and assuring the integrity of calibration records. This position is a critical part of the process to get test equipment to the customer when they need it. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player and must be a motivated, self-starter who can meet internal customer’s needs. Must be able to work on assigned projects with minimal supervision making decisions within established guidelines and policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the equipment room to include check in/out of test equipment, inventory of equipment, recall of equipment due check-in and extending the due-in date.
  • Recall and receive items due calibration into the Calibration Lab and update the database.
  • Perform data entry to update calibration records in the calibration databases.
  • Perform a Quality Check on all items calibrated to insure; The correct stickers and seals have been applied.
  • Insuring the proper entries in the 2 databases by the calibration technicians before release of the equipment.
  • Assist other techs as needed.
  • Interfacing with customers.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills, including email.
  • Detail-oriented and can maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be team-oriented with a positive attitude and able to work well with others.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, Access and other programs and ability to quickly learn new computer programs and applications.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and remain flexible to meet department demand.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
