Data Management Specialist

Santa Rosa, CA

Volt Workforce Solutions has an opening for a Data Management Specialist position for a client based in Santa Rosa, CA. You will be responsible for entering and maintaining the various different types of data points from a variety of sources and methods as well as tracking the information of all types of work performed by the Company – on a daily basis.

This is a temp-hire position interviewing immediately!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with different departments 
  • Receive data from various sources (in-person paper, electronic copies, pulling data from worksheets, etc.) daily – when data is late taking the initiative to reach out to department heads for follow up
  • Enter daily data into various client programs and maintain, update, and add various worksheets and databases on a daily basis
  • Communication to Manager to review daily production results
  • Maintain current filing system of all paper work
  • Work with program staff to streamline efficient workflows
  • Coordinate with management on managing quality assurance and quality control of project documentation and processing
  • Transcribe data and compose and edit a variety of letters or memorandum

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three to five years of previous office experience
  • Must be able to handle a wide work variety and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive matters and confidential information
  • Must be a detail-oriented, organized, self-starter, and have an ability to prioritize workload
  • Ability to identify and resolve project application issues with customers and trade allies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong data entry skills in entering information in tracking systems/databases
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with customers, clients and employees.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and solve practical problems
  • Knowledge of mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages and ratios
  • Reliable transportation, attendance is of the utmost importance

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to lift to 10 pounds
  • Ability to sit a desk for long periods of time
  • Ability to type at least 40WPM
