***Computer Server Test Operators Wanted***

Day/Swing shifts, M-F

$15.50 - $17.05 depending on Shift

No previous testing experience required!!!!

If so, then Volt Workforce Solutions has the position for you! Located in Hillsboro Oregon, our client, a leading server manufacture is looking for qualified Test Operators. These positions are up to a 2 year contract, and do not require previous experience with computer hardware. The Test Operators are responsible for the testing, troubleshooting, and if needed repair of freshly manufactured computer servers. All training is provided, individuals with a high attention to detail, enjoy problem solving, and are looking to learn something new are strongly encouraged to apply.

Job Duties for the Computer Server Test Operators:

  • Perform a series of manual and automated testing procedures on the new servers
  • Diagnosis root cause issues between hardware and software.
  • Meet production schedule while maintaining the highest level of product quality.
  • Use online production tools for tracking inventory, data collection and managing build priorities.
  • Provide cross-functional assembly support.
  • Initiate non-conforming material reports on discrepant materials.
  • Use web browser and e-mail to communicate status and keep informed of priorities.
  • Ensure compliance to assembling and material handling per process documentation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing/production/process driven environment
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work in a team         

Bonus Skills, but not required:

  • Previous experience troubleshooting computers, electronics, or machines
  • Previous experience using Unix based interfaces
