Volt is currently seeking a Design Release Engineer.

Candidate Responsibilities

This position is responsible for developing and validating cooling components in accordance with the NPI and APQP processes to improve performance, reliability, durability, and costs for new and existing products. Responsibilities include current product issue resolution, coordinating all supplier related activities, creating technical specifications, conducting design FMEA's, developing component DVP&R's, presenting formal design reviews, procuring prove design hardware, coordinating validation testing and analysis activities cost reduction activities, and releasing drawings and solid models.

Education Requirement
The minimum requirements for this position are a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace engineering and 5 years engineering work experience with component design and validation or Masters degree with 2 years of design and validation (School work experience not considered)

Technical Skills
Ability to work in CREO. Understanding of FMEA/DVP&R and APQP process and MS office. Prior CAT experience desired but not necessary.

Soft Skills
Requires ability to function well in team environment. Need to have some experience working with suppliers. Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
