Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is seeking an energetic and reliable Desktop Support Engineer for our client in the Boston area.

The successful candidate will assist with installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems.

Responsibilities: (include but not limited to)

  • Diagnose and resolve end user issues with things such as desktops/laptops, network connectivity, application compatibility, desk and mobile phones, etc.
  • Reset passwords in an Active Directory environment.
  • Troubleshoot issues with DNS/DHCP.
  • Troubleshoot general issues with Windows 7, 8, and 10; Server 2008 R2 and Server 2012 R2; and Mac OSX.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT Help Desk and/or Desktop Support operations troubleshooting PC, peripheral, and network issues.
  • Experienced in Microsoft environments of 25-500 end users and/or MSP experience.
