Contract to Hire (3 months prior to conversion)

The IT Director is responsible to provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives across all areas of the organization.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Ten plus years of directly related experience in managing and leading infrastructure, IT security, server, storage, service desk, desktop, and data center environments, along with experience with all of the policies, procedures, and practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field
  • Ability to lead and manage technical staff
  • Ability to assess strategic organizational goals, conduct complex gap analysis, and design and implement large scale, complex applications and systems to improve profitability and sustained competitive advantage
  • Ability to build ROI and economic projections to reduce IT expenses, maximum IT outlays and capital expenditures
  • Plan, direct, coordinate and review the work plan for assigned staff, assign work activities, projects and programs, review and evaluate work products, methods and procedures, meet with staff to identify and resolve problems.
  • Coordinate service activities with other departments; prepare and present staff reports and other necessary correspondence.
  • Develop and manage the information technology expense budget to contribute to a cost-effective operation.
