Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales department. We need a self-motivated professional with proven managerial experience and an outstanding track record in sales. In this position, you will be responsible for meeting our annual sales targets within assigned regions and accounts.

 To achieve objectives, the Director of Sales is responsible for the following specific tasks:

  • • Direct management of major accounts
  • • Development of new business
  • • Manage, support and cultivate the development and growth of the sales team.
  • • Conduct regularly scheduled reviews with the Sales Account Representatives to discuss in-depth account reports, new opportunities customer concerns, industry swings and new product information.
  • • Management of live inventory
  • • Plans and executes a pricing strategy
  • • Purchasing of decorative containers and finished plants
  • • Management and coordination with Public Relations/Marketing vendors
  • • Management and attendance of trades shows
  • • On-Site visits with major accounts

Further responsibilities include:

  • • Participates in company-wide short and long-term improvement efforts
  • • Contributes to building a positive team environment
  • • Inspires and motivates employees to perform at a high level

Qualifications & Experience

  • • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
  • • 5+ years’ experience in a sales leadership role
