Job Description

Disability Admin Specialist

$18 Hourly

Hillsboro, OR

M-F, 40 hours per week

6am-2pm Preferred

Key objective for the Role:

  • Provide administrative support for the departments management of disability claims including the set-up and distribution of new claims.
  • Review disability claim information received on lower liability claims; administer low maintenance claims, provide responsive customer service to claimants, policyholders and Benefits staff.
  • Provide clerical support to contribute to effective management of short and long-term disability claims.
  • Set up new claim files and claims, establish system records; analyze member eligibility.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be process oriented
  • Must be adaptable
  • Possess basic phone skills
  • Previous data entry experience preferred

Education:

HS Diploma or equivalent. 6 months relevant work experience or demonstrated customer service experience or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
