Warehouse Associate

Volt is immediately hiring Warehouse Associates for a local leading organization in Melville, NY.  Warehouse Associates will work in the Distribution Center, assembling parts, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, stocking, etc providing world class service in a manufacturing/production environment.

As a Warehouse Associate, you will:

• Verifies accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders
• Data entry - working on returns, credits and refurbishing frames
• Entering information in database
• Stocking and arranges products
• Fills customers’ orders according to specifications
• Maintains clean work area to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures
• Other duties may be assigned.

Warehouse Associates candidates must meet the following requirements:

• At least 6 months to 1-year warehousing experience as general laborer, warehouse associate or material handler.
• Ability to stand, twist, push, pull, squat and lift to 30 pounds for entire shift
• Unpacking Shipments
• Verifying Inventory received, cycle counts and quality control checks
• Stocking shelves
• Must be able to work in a fast paced / deadline driven environment and work over-time as needed.
• Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements

Pay for this position is $15.00/hr plus overtime as needed.
