Job Description

  • Job Summary:

    Under direct supervision, the primary functions of the Document Agent I could include the following:

    • Receive, sort, scan, batch, validate or release documents.

    • Handle documents in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining a consistent flow from one department to the next.

    • Data entry.


    To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Requirements:

    Education and Experience:

    • High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.

    • Basic knowledge of PC software applications (i.e., MS Office and Excel) preferred.

    • Data entry skills preferred for verifying documents, 50 WPM or 15,000 KPH.

    • Knowledge of state abbreviations preferred.

    • Knowledge of shipping software and mailing equipment preferred for mail room.

    • Working knowledge of imaging software preferred.

    Workplace Environment:

    • Ability to perform routine and repetitive production work.

    • May require Ability to climb step ladders, sit, stand, bend, reach and pull for long periods of time.

    • Noise level can be loud at times.

    • Working Hours: 11:00 Am - 7:30 Pm  Shift may vary and include overtime and Saturdays.

    • Ability to lift or push up to 35 lbs.
