Job Title: Drafter/Designer


Volt is looking for a Drafter/Designer for one of the World’s largest Automation Industrial Company located in Middleton, WI. The company operates its business through two segments which consists of control Products and Solutions.


Model parts and assemblies as required in 3D CAD (Creo Parametric 2.0 or later) per established company standards.
• Convert SolidWorks data to Creo Parametric data.
• Create drawings of parts and assemblies per company standards.
• Maintain models and documents in SAP document management system.
• Provide time estimates for task completion.
• Accurately track progress of conversion process.

Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities necessary to perform essential functions
• Fluent with Creo Parametric 3D CAD including part modeling, sheet metal, assemblies and documentation.
• Intermediate skills in SolidWorks 3D CAD.
• Adobe Illustrator experience.
• Knowledge of drafting standards, preferably including GDT.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Excel.
