1st Shift

We are currently looking for a EHS Supervisor. The EHS Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment for all employees and making sure OHSA regulations are followed. 

Duties and Essential Job Functions:

  • Train all site leadership and employees to develop a thorough understanding of safety rules, regulations and guidelines. Advise EHS manager/site leader and EHS director on EHS compliance concerns and preventative actions. 
  • Develop/review site risk assessments, job hazard analysis, Update training materials, Maintain training records.
  • Support and coordinate safety committee meetings and actions. 
  • Responsible for facility compliance with all OSHA, state and federal regulations. This includes implementing new programs within OSHA time frames.
  • Implement all OSHA standards and regulations in a timely manner, and maintain all necessary records for workers compensation, OSHA and any other records assigned.
  • Oversee company back- to-back programs for employees injured on the job. 
  • Assist engineering with EPA and environmental reporting and program development.
  • Develop, implement and manage plant safety audit and inspection programs, Manage corrective/preventive action registers as part of the program.
  • Responsible for the follow-up of safety related corrective actions to ensure they are executed and sustained.
  • Maintain accurate record keeping of inspections, procedures, and JSA'S. 
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly testing and inspections for various EHS task.
  • Provide global reporting and data analysis related to EHS metrics and corporate agenda.
  • Share and report on best practices or incidents with other sites.
  • Perform routine and non-routine data evaluation for environmental, safety and health metrics and reports.
  • Ability to support a flexible schedule.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Technical Skills:

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must posses leadership, presentation and training skills, organization and planning abilities. 
  • Provide hands-on training and coaching of others.


  • High School Diploma or general equivalency diploma.
  • 2 or more years in EHS with heavy focus on Safety and manufacturing experience.
  • College, military, or administrative experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer Skills.


  • Bachelor's degree
  • OSHA 10/30 Certified
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification
  • HASWOPER certification
  • Food Manufacturing

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of manufacturing concepts and practices across multiple categories, financial applications and processes. 
  • Skilled in presenting information or ideas concisely, accurately, and clearly, verbally and in writing.
  • Skilled in analyzing and documenting simple and complex business processes.
  • Ability to exercise appropriate judgment in decision-making and problem solving; organize or re-organize work and manage time efficiently and effectively.
  • Ability to grasp new ideas, complete task with minimal supervision, prioritize, organize or re-organize work, and manage time efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong sense of urgency with the ability to hold peers and team members accountable.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged standing, sitting, walking, reading, talking, use of computer.
  • Hearing ability for verbal communication via telephone systems, and person -to-person.
  • Ability to speak clearly and Visual Acuity Clear for use of computers and documents.
  • Manual and tactile dexterity for palpation.
  • Flexibility and body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling, standing, reaching, lifting and moving objects and equipment (approximately 25lbs. or more with assistance), sitting.

Work Environment:

  • The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate.
  • Work is indoors and sedentary and is subject to schedule changes and /or variable work hours.
